Come one, come all – participant and walk-in registrations for Barcamp Bangalore are now open

After much waiting and a little bit of delay, we’re happy to announce that Barcamp Bangalore is now open for participant registrations, RSVPs and session proposal submissions. This edition of Barcamp Bangalore will be held on November 1, 2015 and we’re grateful to CMR Institute of Technology to host us again.

RSVP/Session proposal submission is a simple process:

Registration & RSVP for participants

  • Login using your Barcamp Bangalore account(Click on Register if you don’t) or using your Google/Facebook accounts
  • Head over to Sessions page and click on “I’m attending” button to confirm your RSVP for the event. To ensure that there’s minimal session overlap, do visit the sessions page daily and click on “I’m attending” on the session proposals which interest you.
    • Optionally, you may chose to share your location when clicking on “I’m attending” button. We will use this location info to showcase an awesome chart of where people converge at the venue from. If you opted to share you location later or if you wish to update your location, just head over to your profile page by clicking on “My Sessions” link on the top right and then click on “Update location” button
  • You’ve successfully RSVP’d for the event!

For session presenters

  • Login using your Barcamp Bangalore account(Click on Register if you don’t) or using your Google/Facebook accounts
  • Click on the “Add a session” link on the header and enter details about what you will be talking about.
    • Note that if you intend to have a short tech demo, Techlash might be a better platform. Select the category as “Techlash” in this case
  • We encourage our presenters to head over to the Sessions page and click on “I’m attending” button to mark the sessions that they are interested in to minimize session overlap.

Note that actual sessions to be presented will be decided on the day of the event using our electronic scheduler on a first come first serve basis – please read this post for more info on session scheduling.
