The gates are open: Accepting registrations and session proposals for Spring 2016 event

We are pleased to announce that BarCamp Bangalore Spring 2016 is now accepting participant registrations, RSVPs, and session proposals. The event will be held on April 30th, 2016 at CMR Institute of Technology, Whitefield 8:00 AM onwards.

Follow the instructions below to join the fun.

To Register and RSVP for sessions:

  • Visit the BarCamp Bangalore website and click on Sign-Up (or Login if you already have an existing account) to register.
  • Head over to the Proposed Sessions page and browse the various sessions.
  • Once you find a session you are interested in, click on “I wanna attend” I wanna attend icon. To ensure that there’s minimal session overlap, do visit the sessions page daily and click on “I’m attending” I wanna attend iconon the session proposals which interest you.
  • Voila! You have successfully RSVP’d for the session and the event!

To Propose a Session:

  • Visit the BarCamp Bangalore website and click on Sign-Up (or Login if you already have an existing account) to register.
  • Head over to the Add a Session page and enter details about what you will be talking about.
    • If you intend to present a short demo about your cutting edge technology or revolutionizing product, Techlash might be a better option. Select the category as “Techlash” in this case.
  • Voila! You have successfully added your session! We look forward to attending it and encourage you to RSVP for other sessions you are interested in to minimize session overlap.

In true BarCamp fashion, the actual sessions to be presented will be decided on the day of the event using our scheduler on first come first serve basis. Read our post on session scheduling to learn more.
